We’re stoked to be kicking off the month with a brand new PropertyOfZack Playlist feature with A Rocket To The Moon, Fake Problems, and staff reviewer Mike Meeze! A Rocket To The Moon and Fake Problems are currently wrapping up the Time Travel Tour with Never Shout Never. Check out the Playlists and listen to the songs while reading everyone’s thoughts!

One of the greatest things about the Northeast, and Philadelphia in general, is that we get to experience four distinct seasons (at least until climate change, well, changes that). The seasons and weather definitely influence my choice in music. During Spring, acoustic and indie pop dominate the day. Summer is reserved for pop-punk, hardcore, and anything from Springsteen and Petty. Autumn is heavy on the indie rock. When it comes to Winter, folk and various minimalistic electronic outfits rule the day. There is something about the peacefulness of falling snow and the quietness of a drive through the rolling hills of suburban Philadelphia during those cold January and February nights that lends itself to simplistic, yet layered, music. I have a feeling that these ten songs will be played often this Winter. Mike Meeze

This list pretty much runs the gamut of what I’ve been listening to lately.  A few old songs, and some “hits” that are tugging at my brain.  It’s mostly upbeat-to-dancey tunes, with a few exceptions.  Boppy songs with classic conventional pop structure.  Happy songs for happy people. - Chris Farren

Hey, this is Eric from A Rocket to the Moon and I threw together a playlist real quick of songs, new and old, that I’ve been listening to so far this fall. Wilco, Feist, Ryan Adams, & St. Vincent all came out with new records in the last few months so I’ve been obsessed with all of those. The others are from bands that I just love to listen to during this time of year. I hope you enjoy it.
The Time Travel Tour has been amazing so far and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of it. All of the bands are outstanding, on stage and off. Were having a great time hanging with Never Shout Never, Fake Problems, & Carter Hulsey every night and I’m really happy because we still have about three weeks left of the tour. If you have a chance, come hang out at one of the shows if were coming to your area. Its a grand ol’ time. And if you do, make sure to tell The Goose from Fake Problems happy birthday. He’s a good kid. - Eric Halvorsen
