I love Fall. Between the taste of the air and the music that surrounds it, it’s just the best time of year for me. To celebrate my favorite time of year, I made a Playlist of songs that I think help add to the season as a whole. Enjoy! - Zack Zarrillo

Let me preface this by saying I’m kind of a weirdo and I listen to lots of different, random stuff. I tried to maintain some sort of fluid consistency throughout this so it isn’t a terrible clusterfuck. These are songs that I feel are super cool fall jams. Hope you enjoy it. - Tim Landers

Metric - Gimmie Sympathy (Acoustic) 
I have been enamored of Emily Haines for a lot of years. I got all the Avalanche guys into Metric by relentlessly playing their records in the van. This song makes me think of all the loves who have been in and out of my life. 
The Replacements - Alex Chilton
This song reminds of two things: being a little kid and jumping up and down on my bed when i got stoked on a song, and also getting drunk with my friends and singing at the top of our lungs in some bar as ” adults “. I’m in love with this song. 
Wavves - Green Eyes
This is one of those bands that took long time before I checked them out. But this song is raw and sincere and snotty and awesome and basically says ” who gives a fuck? “ 
Justin Townes Earle - Harlem River Blues
I saw Justin Townes Earle open for John Prine a few years ago here in NYC and he blew my fucking mind. Everyone who knows me knows I am a huge fan of traditional country music. This song hits the nail on the head, and is also a great New York City song. 
El Guincho - Bombay 
My darling friend Betsy showed me this song one very hungover morning at Pearl’s ( the bar we own together ). We were both pretty grumpy and tired and this song took away all the pain. I don’t speak Spanish so I have no idea what the hell he’s saying, but it sounds great (watch the video if you aren’t at work, it’s fucking amazing).
The Static Jacks - Girl Parts
These guys are awesome. This song reminds me of angry kids rocking out in a garage all pissed off about shit and yelling about it. I am in love with this whole record. 
The War on Drugs - Comin ’ Through
This is a moody little gem. This song makes you feel something that many other songs don’t: pure darkness, but also something you could listen to at night on the cab ride home and feel just fine about things.  
Tammy St. John - Boys  
This is the cutest song on the face of the earth, and I don’t really use the word “cute” very much. It makes me think of hot French girls twirling around the room in their underwear and pillow fighting. Wow.
Ratatat - Loud Pipes
This is a song with no lyrics or vocals and it stands perfectly as is, on it’s own, just like all of Ratatat’s other songs. This one is my favorite of theirs.  
Tears for Fears - Break it Down Again
“Fast off to heaven just like Moses on a motorbike.” This is a super powerful song, and an oldie but a goodie. I used to put this on mixtapes when i was a kid for almost every girl I liked. Sorry ladies, you were all special in your own way. - Mike Ireland
