Every Avenue and Go Radio are currently on the tail-end of their fall tour with Yellowcard, and the bands were kind enough to do a Playlist feature for PropertyOfZack! Since I’m a contributing photographer for PropertyOfZack, I decided to make my playlist consist of bands and artists that I’ve photographed. Besides that connection, all these songs have meant a lot to me over the past two years of my life. Going from a seventeen year old senior in high school to a nineteen year old college student has been difficult, to say the least. These songs helped me get through that.

Jack’s Mannequin - Lullaby
I love the cadences and piano work in this song. It’s a great thinking song. - Jason Lancaster
Bring Me the Horizon - Diamonds Aren’t Forever
This song always gets me pumped up before I go on stage. It gets the blood moving. - Jason Lancaster

This is one of the most emotional songs I’ve heard. It talks about how much everything changes. It makes it better when we get home and nothings the same as when we left. - Jason Lancaster
Vampire Weekend - White Sky
This song is amazing. A song I never would have put together conceptually but I love the way it sounds. Always makes me smile. - Matt Burns
Yellowcard - Sing For Me
This is a beautiful song with a beautiful story. Ryan wrote it for his Aunt and she passed away a few days ago. It’s a super emotional song to watch every night. - Matt Burns
Kings of Leon - Back Down South
One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. I’m always on the road and my wife is in Florida.  My heart is always back down south. - Matt Burns
Bayside - On love, On life
I’ve always been a fan of bayside but hadn’t gotten the latest record “killing time” until this tour.  I have to say its one of my favorite songs they’ve put out and I love the emotion evoked in the vocals. - Alex Reed
The Graduate - Permanent Tourists
This is just a great song for anyone on the road and is a good listen for me now that im rounding up on the 3rd month away from home. Great band, great, song. - Alex Reed
Yellowcard - Hang You Up
I’ve been a fan of this band since high school and to be on tour with them has been one of the best times I’ve had on tour in a long time.  They play this song every night and I’ve found myself making a point every night to catch them playing “hang you up.” it really translates well live and has such smash hit potential! - Alex Reed
Dashboard Confessional - Shirts and Gloves
This song is from one of my top favorite records. I wish I could add every song from this album to my playlist. But since my choices are limited I picked this song because it always hits home for me. - Steve Kopacz
The Get Up Kids - Holiday
Another song from an amazing record that will always have a safe place in my heart. This song always makes me think of all my close friends and the awesome times we have! - Steve Kopacz
Versaemerge - Lost Tree
I really love the drumming on this entire record but in this song I love the build and how they mash up other songs from the record in this song. I listened to this album a lot while in the studio recording for Lucky Street. - Steve Kopacz

I heard this song for the first time on warped tour this past summer and it immediately became one of my favorites. this song just seems to sum up everything I love about pop-punk music. - Matt Black

My favorite song from their new record War Paint. I love how intense and driving the drums are, and how raw the vocals sound. - Matt Black
Randy Newman - Feels Like Home
I just revisited all of his material and I forgot how much I like it. Plus who doesn’t like Pixar movies? - Dennis Wilson

Silverchair - Across The Night

The Kooks - Petulia
Beautiful acoustic song with a very live aesthetic that the kooks nail on their records every time. Sounds like you’re sitting in the same room listening to the song being played live. - Jimmie Deeghan
Wild Light - California On My Mind
I’ve recently gotten really into this band. This melody has a tendency to live in your head for days at a time. The lyrics are honest and cynical, just how I like them. - Josh Withenshaw
Pete Droge - If You Don’t Love Me (I’ll Kill Myself)
I first heard this song in the movie Dumb And Dumber. I love his sense of hyperbole. The song is based around a really upbeat Tom Petty type riff which I think perfectly compliments the dark lyrics. It puts you in a good mood even though what he’s singing about shouldn’t. - Josh Withenshaw
Conditions - When It Won’t Save You
This band just rocks. I relate to this song being on the road as much as we are and the lyrics “if I’m wrong at all for living this way then I’m alright being wrong” sums up my life. On top of that this guy has a killer voice and I love his vocal style. - Dave Strauchman
Sam Cooke - Fool’s Paradise
Sam Cooke is one of my favorite artist of all times. This song talks about how eventually things will catch up to to and get the best of you if you’re not careful. Everything in moderation. - Dave Strauchman
