Throughout my years as a musician and music listener, right up until today, certain bands, records, and songs have influenced me or stuck with me in ways that I’ll always be grateful for. It’s little things like how perfectly you’re able to relate to the lyrics in a song, or how a chord progression seems to sum up your mood, or the way the drums make you wide-eyed and say to yourself “That was fucking awesome” that make every single instance of my life, good, bad or indifferent completely worth it. I don’t think I could ever stop feeling excited about music, and this playlist encompasses a few of the bands and songs that have impacted me in those ways. - Mike Hansen
