Worried that you didn’t like Shudder and you won’t like this? Don’t be. Just hit play. With the first taste of Killing Time it’s obvious that Bayside is back and better than ever in their new home at Wind-Up.

“Already Gone” starts with an energetic riff that sets the stage for the entire song as the band does everything right to begin the record. Raneri’s beloved vocals hit their stride in the pre-chorus as he sings, “By all means I’m getting mad // But that don’t mean I don’t feel sorry for you” in his trademark style that was certainly missed on Shudder

The first song off Killing Time kicks into overtime as lead guitarist, Jack O’Shea, shows he’s still one of the best and places a powerful solo right before the band’s strong bridge hits.

“Already Gone” is immediately reminiscent of the self-titled days of Bayside and, if Killing Time is among the same standards as this track, fans will be able to crown a new record King.
