Pianos Become The Teeth and Seahaven are in the final leg of their fall tour with Touché Amoré, and we thought it would be a great idea to feature both bands in our ongoing Playlist series. Both bands released fantastic albums this year as well, so make sure to check them both out if you’ve yet to. Check out the Playlists and listen to the songs while reading everyone’s thoughts!

Catherine Wheel - Crank
Full credit goes to our friends in Sainthood Reps for turning me onto this band. Really cool alternative band from the 90’s. I can never listen to this song only once.
Pianos Become The Teeth - Good Times
My favorite song off of my favorite record this year. The lyrical content on this one hits really close to home for me and although it bums out very hard, it also helps me to not feel alone when it comes to missing home and the little comforts that come with it. - Michael Craver
Kind of Like Spitting - Birds of a Feather
Everytime I am on tour I find my self listening to this tune, it is great for long drives and this bands discog rules.
Yuck - Shook Down..
This band rules I have not gotten to see them live yet, but this entire LP is very diverse. This slow song is my favorite off the record. - Jason Parent (Tour Manager)
Cemetery Gates - The Smiths
I’ve been on this huge Smith’s kick as of late and I always find my myself playing this song more than others. Morrissey’s catchy melodies and Marrs’ guitar work in this song are absolutely perfect.
Black Sin - Black Breath
The guitar tone on Heavy Breathing makes my face melt. Whenever I’m doing a long night drive and I start to doze off, I put this record on and it gets me pumped and head banging. This song’s bridge is one of the angriest and heaviest I’ve ever heard. - Eric Findlay
Panic! At the Disco - Nearly Witches
This song is just way too much fun. Rediculous production. Love it.
Tigers on Trains - The Grammarian
This record (Grandfather) really never leaves my stereo, ever. This song literally suits any mood that I’m in. - Kyle Soto
Romanza -Andrew Bocelli
I enjoy the entire Bocelli album, but this song is my favorite because it is so beautiful, despite the ever-so-sad story being told.
The World Is New - Save Ferris
I chose this song because it puts me in a good mood and reminds me of playing trombone in my old ska band back in the day. - Mike DeBartolo

M83 - We Own the Sky
M83’s been one of my favorite bands for a long time. I saw them recently at FunFunFun Fest and they completely blew me away.
Cloudkicker - Oh, god.
Although not a “real” band, the dude writes really epic guitar riffs and compliments them well with awesome polyrhythmic drum beats. - David Haik
Pygmy Lush - Chance
This is my favorite track off of their new record. It’s very low key and catchy, a good album to listen to while driving.
At The Drive in - Star Slight
This has always been one of my favorite tracks by this band. At the drive in is one of a handful of bands who have never released a bad record. - Chad McDonald
Ryan Adams - Call Me on Your Way Back Home
This song is one of my favorites from Ryan Adams on my favorite album by him (Heartbreaker) which is in my top three favorite albums of all time.
Brand New - You Won’t Know
I chose this song because of its eeriness. The Devil and God are Raging Inside of Me is my favorite record ever. This song comes after Limousine and carries on with the same story from that song. Its Dark. - Zac Sewell
Red House Painters - Have You Forgotton
I’ve been listening to this song forever and it always relates the older I get
Slowdive - Souvlaki Space Station
My buddy Jeffrey turned me on to this band. This song Has such a perfect bass line. - Kyle Durfey
The National - Sorrow
This song has just a way about it that makes you feel really heavy, if that makes sense. It’s a really simple song, very low key, simply constructed, but it’s just so good.
Elliott - Song in the Air
This record is one of my all time favorites and the title track from this record is one of my favorite songs of all time. I feel like anytime I listen to, it fits whatever is going on around me. Plus, it’s one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard, and it’s just strings and vocals. - Michael York
