It’s easy to focus on Anthony Green’s dark side that appears in Saosin’s “Seven Years” or in Circa Survive’s “Get Out” as his screams fill ears with anger, but Green has as a light side too that appears around Christmas time. Circa Survive’s interpretation of “Christmas Time Is Here” can only prove to Santa and his little elves that Green and company can be good for Christmas.

There’s a certain quality in Anthony Green’s clean vocals that can bring a smile or shiver to anybody’s ears, and that certainly shines in the cover over mood-setting music by the rest of the band. Circa’s rendition of “Christmas Time” may very well be a perfect set up for Anthony Green’s upcoming solo album as well as it lays the groundwork for a more mellow side of Green that fans certainly cling to at times.
