Pentimento and Light Years are currently out on a PropertyOfZack sponsored tour, so we thought it’d be a great idea to have the two bands be a part of our Playlist feature. Check out the Playlists and listen to the songs while reading everyone’s thoughts!

blink-182 - Natives
Their new record did not disappoint me in any way, and this is my favorite track by far. It reminds me of old school blink with that fast guitar riff in the intro.
The Story So Far - Roam
Been jamming this band a lot, and this song is super catchy. One of the few bands that is still playing pop-punk, at least the way I like it. Fast and catchy.
Diamond - Sunburn
I have always liked this band, they are like a way cooler Queens of the Stone Age. New record is sweet and this is the jam.
Ages - Sleep On It
Our friends from Cleveland who put out one of the most impressive records this year. This song is one of my favorites, the lyrics, the melodies over the rough vocals, and the ending make me want to stagedive.
Trapped Under Ice - Born to Die *Song is currently not on Spotify
This is the best Trapped Under Ice record since the demo in my opinion. See you in the pit.
Lady GaGa - Bad Kids
Whatever. Fuck the Haters. Shit is catchy and and she can actually sing. Grow up.
Brand New - The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot
This song is one of my favorite Brand New songs. Sometimes you just have to mellow out and get sad man…
Fireworks - We’re Still Pioneers
The new record, Gospel, is awesome from start to finish. They were able to mature their sound without sounding like douchebags. That’s hard to do.
I Am The Avalanche - Brooklyn Dodgers
I can see this song playing in movies and sports arenas. Epic sing alongs. I’ve always been a van of Vinnie Caruana’s songs/vocals and I feel that I Am The Avalanche will leave the same impact The Movielife did for a new generation of kids.
Homewrecker - Worms and Dirt *Song is currently not on Spotify
Heaviest thing I’ve heard in a while. Their new record is gonna crush your entire body. Sounds like Integrity, Ringworm, and Satan literally doing the vocals. - Pat

Saves the Day - Can’t Slow Down
This was the very first record I ever purchased after my parents got me a Sony Walkmen for my birthday. Hands down it changed the way I listen to music and opened up a whole new world to me, which I am so glad to be still be a part of today.
The Weakerthans - Left & Leaving
John K. Samson is a lyrical genius and this record introduced me to some of the most honest words i’ve ever heard. This record makes it’s way into my ears at least once a week.
The Bouncing Souls - How I Spent My Summer Vacation *Song is currently not on Spotify
The Bouncing Souls have always had such a positive influence on me, I think i’ve watched their “Do You Remember 15 Years of The Bouncing Souls” dvd so many times that it literally won’t play anymore. Often times i’ll pop this record in my headphones prior to playing a set because of the feeling it gives me, gets me so pumped. - Jeramiah
AFI - Art Of Drowning
No matter how many times I listen to this record, I’m still just as amazed as the first time I listened to it. There are few things in this life can actually be considered “timeless” but this record is one of them. I got this record for my birthday in November of 2000 by a friend of mine who bought it for me because he thought I’d like the cover art. Needless to say that I’ll never be able to thank him enough. This was the first record that really got me into punk rock, and there will never be a time where I don’t look to this album as a sort of foundation.
Converge - Jane Doe
It was a spring day in my freshman year at high-school. As I was standing at my locker, a girl named Jessica Goshen came up behind me and put headphones on my ears. I didn’t know it then, but that moment changed my life forever. Upon first listen, I was unimpressed to say the least. But (thankfully) Jessica wasn’t willing to let me off the hook that easy. She pushed me into a growing curiosity about Converge, so I finally bought a copy of Jane Doe on CD from a record shop in downtown Buffalo. I remember sitting in my room and just staring at my stereo, amazed at what I was hearing. It was the first time I’d ever felt genuinely involved in a record. I can’t explain the feeling I got the first time I listened to Jane Doe the entire way through, but it completely altered the way I listen to and feel about music. The aggressive personality, the passionate delivery, and the over all mood of that record is something I’ll always carry with me.
Crime In Stereo - The Troubled Statesid
This is probably my absolute favorite record of all time. I simply do not have the vocabulary to describe how much I love this album or this band. No piece of music has ever moved me emotionally and mentally the way The Troubled Stateside has. I bought this album on CD at a small record store in downtown Buffalo, NY on a cold day in March. I’ll never forget putting it in the CD player of my parent’s car, beging stopped at a red light, and hearing the “YEAAAAAAHHHH!!!” at the beginning of the album and just racing home and thinking “holy fuck. this is awesome”. I drove at least 100 mph back to my parent’s place to get into my room and give it a hard listen. I haven’t stopped spinning that record since that day. I can honestly say without question that The Troubled Stateside has inspired and motivated me to be a part of punk rock. - Mike
Strike Anywhere - Exit English
What can I say about Strike Anywhere that doesn’t sound like a school girl gushing about her latest crush? Everything about them, and this record specifically is perfect. The lyrics, the dynamics in the drumming, right down to the chord progressions and guitar tones themselves truly inspired me. I feel like every time I listen to this album I learn something, or discover something. I can honestly say that Exit English moved me in a way very few records have over the years, and I’ll always think of Strike Anywhere as one of my favorite bands of all time.
Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American
I got this record for my birthday when it first came out. It has been the most played album out of my collection over the years. Something that really made me fall in love with this album was that Jimmy Eat World was the first real concert that I went to when I was 13. I even got a chance to see them play Bleed American front to back on the 10 year anniversary of the release this past year. This album moves me in a way that no other has.Jim’s words and the music has found a way to connect to my life year after year after year. To me it’s flawless and still my favorite album front to back. - Vinny
Green Day - Dookie
This was one of the first cd’s I ever came across as a kid, and it has stuck with me ever since. The ability to harness negative emotions through catchy melodies is a tool that I’ve learned to love and apply in my own music. Also, to see what this band has accomplished since writing this album is nothing short of incredible.
Sick Of It All - Built to Last
These guys brought a new style of music to my life at exactly the right time. I got my first job at a golf course and this album was exactly the energy I needed to viciously sling a weed wacker around for 8 hours a day. It has been an invaluable lesson to harness the emotion in music and use it as a positive outlet. - Lance
