Taking Back Sunday and Thursday’s new AP Sessions has finally been released. The bands each played their own songs, but finished off the Sessions by doing a special collaborative cover of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” Watch the Sessions here and check out what Taking Back Sunday had to say about it all below by clicking “Read More.”

So when our friends at AP asked about us doing a Session for them on our summer tour, our first thought was that we had done a few similar things already.  We really wanted to do something this time around to make it more interesting for folks to watch.  Since we were going to be on tour with our good friends in Thursday, the idea came up to maybe each do our own songs and then try and do a collaboration with them and make it something unique that people haven’t seen before.  Well, they said yes, and here you go.  If you ever wondered what it would be like to hang out at the venue with us during soundcheck, this is a pretty good example.  It also makes us realize how lucky we are to be able to tour with people who we consider to be extremely good friends.  Thanks for watching and we’ll see you on the road.
