Larry and His Flask - Beggars will Ride

Little known fact: Sean Rule from Plow United wrote the accordion part for this song. Even if that weren’t the case, it would still rule. This band, I tell ya.
The Holy Mess - A Soulful Punk Tune About a Working Class Dreamer
I don’t know what this song is about and I suspect the band doesn’t either. As with every Holy Mess song, there is military precision underneath the chaos.
Be My Doppleganger - Cha-cha-chump *Song is currently not on Spotify
Total random find, and proof that Last FM is better than Pandora. The Skabs - End Wave Only ABC No Rio in the early 1990s could have made this band exist. One time at Stalag 13, they played this song twice. They played it once in the middle of the set. Then they were finished, and everyone wanted them to play another song, but they didn’t know any more. So they played this one again. At least I think it was this song.
Black Landlord - Dear God *Song is currently not on Spotify
It’s Max from the Goats! If you live in Philadelphia, this means something.
The Tom Robinson Band - Winter of ‘79 *Song is currently not on Spotify
This song came out in 1978, but is set in 1979, when, guess what, everything has gone to shit and Britain has become a police state. Yeah, that didn’t happen.
Luther - The Door is a Penthouse *Song is currently not on Spotify
I wish I owned an El Camino so I could run this song off of my computer onto a tape deck, and then drive around listening to the tape.
Vanbuilderass - Choices *Song is currently not on Spotify
Before there was electricity there were candles, and before there was Discount there was Vanbuilderass.
Orphaned Land - Sapari *Song is currently not on Spotify
Do you remember when Sepultura came out with ROOTS? Well this is like that, but now. They are from Israel but are loved all over the Middle East, even in places where they aren’t supposed to be, like Tehran and Damascus. They started out as a pretty standard swords and sorcery-type metal band, but then decided they wanted to engage with the cultural reality of the Middle East. That is awesome, and they
are awesome.
The Monochrome Set - Jet Set Junta
These get my vote for best lyrics in lyric history.

I approached this by choosing 20 total tracks that include one song from each of the bands we have on our forthcoming US Tour (Samiam, Flatfoot 56 and Plow United) as well as songs from people and friends we’ve been lucky enough to share a stage or two with over our 20 year career. Eclectic would be an understatement. Thanks to Zack and PropertyOfZack for always supporting our band.

Less Than Jake - My Very Own Flag
The first song we ever wrote. It might as well be the first song in the list, right?
Flatfoot 56 - I’ll Fly Away
Great young punk band. We’re stoked to have them on this run with us!
Plow United - The Narrow Sparrow
The fact that Plow is playing shows with us is just insane to me. I hope they stay together forever.
Samiam - Ordinary Life
When my old band, Spring Heeled Jack, signed to Ignition Records in 1997, the only other bands they had signed were Anthrax and Samiam. I love this band and this song reminds me of a strange and exciting time in my life. Having them tour with us is full circle for me, personally.
Snoop Dogg - Ain’t No Fun (If The Homies Can’t Have None)
We toured with Snoop in 2004 on The Projekt Revolution Tour. Totally awesome? You bet. He preformed this song every day and brought 50 ladies on stage with him to dance during it. This song rules and so does Snoop.
Bad Religion - Infected
In 2002 ourselves and Hot Water Music toured with Bad Religion in the US and Canada. It was one of the best tours of our career with some of our best friends.
The Buzzcocks - Love You More
On our first trip to South America in 2007, we had the humbling honor of having the legendary Buzzcocks play with us in Sao Paolo, Brazil. When they played this song I went absolutely crazy and tried to figure out just how we were playing after them.
Bon Jovi - It’s My Life
In 2000, the return of Bon Jovi was launched with this song and, somehow, we were opening for them for a month: just us for 30 minutes, then Bon Jovi for 2 hours. No matter what anyone says about JBJ, he and the entire band and crew were perfectly nice and hospitable.
Cage - Captain Bumout
One of the more diverse tours we did, in 2007 we had Cage come on tour with us. He is a legend in the underground hip hop scene and to have him out with us was amazing. It was not only a challenge for him but it was a challenge for our fans to hear something not a punk or ska group playing with us. We loved having him on tour and love this song.
Dropkick Murphys - Citizen CIA
Warped Tours, Europe, UK…it feels like us and the Murphy’s have been everywhere together. And we couldn’t ask for a better group of people to be with.
Zebrahead - Playmate of the Year
In 2000 and then 10 years later, in 2010, we toured with this great group. Fun fun fun! This song should have been massive.
The Used - Taste Of Ink
Met them on Warped in 2003 and were our only respite of fun and friendship on Projekt Revolution in 2004. What an amazing song, right?
Blink 182 - Dammit
We used to headline over them back in the day and now….well not so much :)
Reel Big Fish - Somebody Hates Me
My personal favorite RBF song. I tell Aaron to play it every time I see him…even if he’s not playing a show.
ALL - Million Bucks
In 1998 ALL went on tour with us. I wish I was on that tour.
Fall Out Boy - Dead On Arrival
To watch these guys go from opening for us to headlining arenas was awesome to witness. This song was always special to me.
New Found Glory - My Friends Over You
If we were to choose a group we consider our true brothers, it would be A New Found Glory. Some of the best friends we’ve ever had. This list wouldn’t be complete without a song from them.
Teen Idols - 20 Below
Some of our best friends and the only defunct band on the list. They earned the spot. All 5 of us love this band, it’s members and this song!
The Descendents - When I Get Old
I used to listen to this song and wonder. Now we’re there. Caffeine Nation Tour in 1996 is where we were able to tour with these legends. Maybe the greatest pop punk band ever ever.
Less Than Jake - The Brightest Bulb Has Burned Out/Screws Fall Out
“You told me that your 20 years have gone by much too fast and you’ve been hoping this year will be better than the last. You said you’ve been waging a war against so many years of lies with stronger drinks and longer lines. It’s not that big a surprise that you’re feeling more dead than alive. But I’ll let you know if you need somewhere to go I’ll be listening when you call and I’ll be here if you fall off. If you need someone to believe in you I’ll let you know I will.” - JR Wasilewski
