I’m sitting in a hotel watching Family Guy and eating some calorie free noodles that are about 4 months past the expiration date. I shouldn’t take chances like that, but it’s raining and I wasn’t going to walk back to the store again. Lazyness > Personal Safety and Health. We are currently on the “Strength In Numbers” Tour with D.R.U.G.S., Like Moths to Flames, Sparks The Rescue and The Action Blast. We’ve been touring the country for the past month and are nearing the end of our great journey. This tour has been a blast from the start, everyone in all the bands are great, really funny people and we’ve felt very comfortable hanging with them every day. The shows for this tour have been very interesting. We’ve had some great ones and others where I honestly felt that we were playing in front of a pack of zombies. We took this tour knowing that we were going to be playing in front of a lot of new people and would be exposing ourselves to a new audience, and with that being said; it never gets old when I see a group of kids in the front row who don’t give a shit about my band and don’t have the decency to even look at us when we’re performing right in front of them. Let’s get one thing straight right now: you don’t have to like my band, you don’t have to listen to my band after you leave the show; but for the next 40 minutes THAT STAGE IS MINE, so get your hands off the monitors if you don’t want them stomped on and don’t act like I’m a leper when I’m rocking close to you. Above ALL else: IF YOU ARE HONESTLY CHECKING YOUR FACEBOOK OR SMART PHONE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME WHILE I’M PERFORMING - I AM GOING TO FUCK WITH YOU.  You’re not too cool and I take it as a personal insult when you go out of your way to deny the fact that dudes are rocking their asses off for you. Here’s a little tip for anyone that goes to shows: if you give a band your attention - just something as small as nodding your head or applauding after they play; THEN YOU’RE GOING TO GET A BETTER SHOW OUT OF THEM. Musicians feed off of that energy in order to make their own and when that energy isn’t there, we have to force it sometimes and that doesn’t feel good. This isn’t a cut on the tour or any dates in particular, it’s just an observation I’ve made and is not limited to just OUR band in any way. All of this being said, we really appreciate all the people coming out to the shows and saying such nice things about the new record and singing along, it fuels us on this tour and it means everything! When you go to shows, go with a POSITIVE attitude. Not everybody has the same taste in music but if you’re in the front row for one band and one band only, that’s a pretty big waste of your time. Open mindedness comes with time and experience and you already payed the money, might as well check out some new music! Anyway, it’s been a great tour and I’ll be sad that I won’t see all of these great people everyday like I’m used to, but I’m still excited to play these last few dates. As well, I’m very excited to hear what D.R.U.G.S. will be doing with their new album and I have faith in those dudes to make something special with this next one! After this tour, HTL takes a mini break for the month of March before heading out for two weeks with our good friends in Set Your Goals and Cartel. We also have some overseas dates coming up that are going to be a lot of fun so BE READY! New music video for “Gravity” will be rearing it’s sexy head and hopefully we’ll be working on some new stuff that will blow your minds out of your chili holes. For all those who are coming to the remaining dates of the S.I.N. tour, BRING IT ON; and to those who haven’t bought their tickets yet - WHAT’RE YA DOIN’ MAN?!?!
