POZ Warped Playlist: Transit, MDAM, Mod Sun, Cherri Bomb

by Zack Zarrillo - Aug 2, 2012

It’s hard to believe, but the 2012 Vans Warped Tour is just about over. To help bring in the end of the tour, we’re stoked to be posting our last Warped Playlist with Transit, Make Do And Mend, Mod Sun, and Cherri Bomb. Check out the Playlists and listen to the songs on Spotify while reading everyone’s thoughts!

My Playlist to listen to for the 2012 Vans Warped Tour! - Tim Landers

Every Time I Die - Floater
This band is seriously TOO good. So much energy and power in their live set. After I see them I feel like I could punch a cop and get away with it. I hope Andy lets me be the point guard on his Basketball team.
Title Fight - Where Am I?
I love watching kids lose their minds to Title Fight. This is one of my favorite songs in a really long time. (Don’t tell them I said that)
Fireworks - The Wild Bunch
Such great songwriters and performers. Kings of awkward stage banter. The bridge in this song makes me want to call my friends and tell them they’re cool or something.
Hostage Calm - Ballots/Stones
This song allows you to shake your hips and sing about a serious issue in our country at the same time. I support same sex marriage.
Into It. Over It. - Midnight: Carroll Street
Evan probably won’t have the biggest circle pit at Warped this year, but he’ll steal the hearts of a lot lost punk rockers, that’s for sure.
Bayside - Landing Feet First
Such a good love song(I think). Bayside are definitely one of the bands I’m most looking forward to this summer. I’m definitely a fan of all of their material.
Taking Back Sunday - MakeDamnSure
THE PRE-CHORUS IN THIS SONG IS SO GOOD. This band definitely takes me back a bit.
New Found Glory - Truth Of My Youth
Few things beat a good fast punk song. Can’t wait to pogo to NFG all summer long.
I Am The Avalanche - Casey’s Song
Another band that just crushes live. Avalanche United was one of my favorite records last year and I haven’t really seen them play song off of it live yet so I’m real stoked to catch them on the first half.
Polar Bear Club - Parked In The Parking Lot Of Your Heart
Can’t say enough good things about this band. Seriously true kings of the stage.

New Found Glory - Better Off Dead
NFG was all i listened to from 9th-11th grade. They for real meant EVERYTHING to me. I played this song on repeat every night while slept for an entire summer, so nostalgic!
Yellowcard - Miles Apart
I used to play drums all day everyday & at the time “Ocean Avenue” dropped Yellowcard’s drummer was my favorite out! So fuckin good. Just listen to this song, so solid.
Breathe Carolina - They Say You Won’t Come Back
Some of my best friends in the whole world right here. They were also one of the main reasons I pursued the start of Mod Sun. I used to tour with them when I played for Four Letter Lie & remember being so inspired by the solo grind. Also, it was crazy to see some wild child cats payin’ rent off iTunes checks. LOVE YOU BC FAMILY!
T. Mills - Hollywood
Another one of my best friends. We started our solo careers at the same time & have a very similar background. The really great part of Mills is how great of a friend he is. We don’t just sit around and talk about music ya know. He’s also my cuzzin.
G Eazy - Lost In Translation *Song is not on Spotify
I seem to be sayin’ this a lot, but this is again one of my best friends. G makes his own beat, engineers his own sessions, and rides totally DIY. We are sharing a bus this summer (along with Jac Vanek, Nicole Buckley, & Jeffree Star) & I promise you it will be the CRAZIEST bus on warped. Mark my words. G IS GOING TO BE A SUPERSTAR!
Machine Gun Kelly - STFU *Song is not on Spotify
Ok, MGK is fuckin dope. I’ve never met him but I legitimately am a huge supporter of his movement. I have a feeling we will be partying together a lot this summer.
I Am The Avalanche - Green Eyes
The MovieLife is still to this day one of my favorite bands. I was totally submersed in the “Drive Thru Records” era & Vinnie was my idol. IATA is no different. Raw music at its finest lead by one of the best frontmen to ever live.
Pierce The Veil - King For A Day (feat. Kellin Quinn)
Used to tour with them a lot when i played for Scary Kids Scaring Kids & have always thought they were some of the most talented musicians on the circuit. Yes they are cool as fuck & amazing people, BUT WOW….the musicianship amongst them is quite astonishing.
The Used - On My Own
This was a high school anthem to me. I can say this was the first band i ever really liked with screaming in it…which then opened up the world of “screamo” to me back then & you know the rest….
Mayday Parade - Jamie All Over
This is some of my DJ Pat Brown’s best friends & are also some of the nicest human beings on the road. For real.
The Constellations - Felicia
Kevin Lyman shouted these guys out in an interview you did with him & I immediately looked them up, super dope!

Tonight Alive
Jenna has great presence on stage and really knows how to get a crowd going. The whole band is SUPER tight and awesome to listen to live.
Dead Sara
All the members are SO talented. Emily is versatile and her vocals will BLOW YOU AWAY.
Vampires Everywhere *Song is not on Spotify
These guys are absolutely insane. They’re all great musicians and their stage show is badass.
Sleeping With Sirens
Kellen Quinn puts so much into his performance as well as the other members of the band who are FANTASTIC.
Of Mice & Men
Their stage presence is OFF. THE. WALL. 'nuff said.
Skinny Lister
This band makes you want to dance. There’s no way you won’t enjoy them.
Motionless In White
These guys have great energy, look, and stage show. Plus they’re all hot.
They may seem sweet, but as soon as they hit the stage they turn on their badass rock musician skills. Seeing them is a must!! Especially after the Warped Tour when we open up for them on their tour down the west coast from August 7th to August 14th! ! Hell YEAH!
Falling in Reverse
Ronnie has a total F—- YOU attitude on stage. Their guitar player can seriously shred. Check ‘em out.
We Are The In Crowd
Jordan and Tay both add great elements to the show with their amazing vocals. The whole band is so tight and they look like they’re having such a blast on stage.
