- Four Year Strong officially signed with Universal/Motown Records.
- Tom DeLonge stated on ModCam that AVA has finalized tour dates for 2010.
- Lil’ Wayne was given a one year sentence for his 2007 gun possession charge.
- Brendon Urie and fun. might be collaborating.
- Manchester Orchestra will be entering the studio in June. Kevin Devine and Andy Hull will be recording together in January. The final installment of the third Right Away, Great Captain! record is half complete. Kevin Devine and Manchester Orchestra will be releasing a 7” split.

- The Used announced a US tour.
