Coachella Announces 2013 Lineup

The Postal Service, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pheonix, and many more. What do you think of this year’s lineup? Will there be another hologram experiment?

The Mars Volta Call It Quits

The band had been incredibly quiet since the release of their new album last year, but Cedric Bixler-Zavala finally decided to rip the bandaids off for fans.

Rocketown Terminated Employee Posts Statement

Wes Breedwell, the terminated Rocketown Employee, has spoken out for the first time since the controversy occurred. It looks like Breedwell will not be doing any additional press and has no interest on causing more excitement on the web.

New Found Glory ‘Icon’ Greatest Hits Release Coming?

If this is real, it reeks of a release that the band had absolutely no idea about, like most of Victory Records’ vinyl pressings. It’s also confusing considering the band released a greatest hits LP in 2008 called Hits

Josh Farro Promises Novel American News

Doesn’t the timing seem a little weird? Farro probably could have waited for more than three days following the release of the new single from Paramore’s first album without him, but that’s how the world works. We’ve seen no music from Josh Farro since brand new eyes, unlike Zac Farro who released an ambient solo EP, so it’ll be interesting to see the direction this takes.

Moving Mountains Begin Mixing New Album

This is good news for fans who had started wondering where the band’s new album went, but it’s almost here. Hopefully we’ll be seeing a spring release via Triple Crown Records.

Carson Frontwoman Going To Hollywood On ‘American Idol’

And another scene girl attempts to make it where she couldn’t be for. In all seriousness though, every contestant on The Voice, and now American Idol, from our little genre have had incredible voices regardless of their musical outputs. Good luck to Taisha.

The Dear Hunter Announce New Album ‘Migrant’

There seems to be a strange of excitement and confusion from fans of The Dear Hunter. This is now two releases in a row without an Act, but what’s equally odd is that there’s no indication of Migrant being a concept album like The Color Spectrum was.

Run For Cover Announces 7 Splits For 7” Subscription Series
