“Never Take it Off”
This was a poem I wrote about finding a love, passion or promise that you wear on you forever. I even handmade bracelets called “Never Take It Off Bracelets” that I’m selling on Warped Tour 2011. They’re based around making a promise or a vow about someone, something or yourself, then tying it on and never taking it off.. Never Take It Off is company producing merch with meaning. “Save Me” is a song i wrote about battling inner demons and outer struggles of life. When i wrote this song, I was going through some harder times in my life. Essentially it’s a diary entry.

“Black Ink Revenge” is about a boy I fell in love with who cheated on me. Not only did he just break my heart but he did it while i was in the same house as he was. I wrote it in the room next to his that he was in with the girl he cheated on me with. Stupid Snake.

“Click Your Heels” is a love song about finding a love like no other.. I’ve been everywhere in the world, and on my journey, there’s no one else I’ve found like this one boy who’s been at home the whole time. Funny..

“Carry The Fire” is my way of telling kids that they’re not alone and if they follow me, maybe I can show them the way.

“Trade Places” is about wishing you could switch places with someone. Whether it’s someone you love or a friend. It’s a totally vulnerable song. It’s honest and something most people wouldn’t admit to. Essentially I’m telling the world that sometimes I wish I were someone else.

“Cruel Cruel” is a song I wrote one night about… well it’s right there in the lyrics. It’s another diary entry. About life, struggles, the industry I’m in and where it drove me to at one point.

“Pillows” is for my fans/friends as well. It’s about touring and meeting amazing people along the way. Again, it’s very honest about the life as a touring artist. “Some days, you wanted to die, but the rest was too good to deny.” Basically  as bad as it can be, you all make up for it and have a place in my heart with hopes I still have a place in yours <3

“The Curtain Close” This song represents the whole album. No better way to snake it then say, “the kids will take their monsters on.” Damn the man… Save the empire!
