Tilian Pearson began working on a new project called Archives during the same time he began working with Saosin. Pearson had confirmed that he and the other members of Archives were trading songs back and forth and were even planning on playing shows, but the band has now confirmed that Pearson abruptly quit the band after flying out to practice with the group. Hey guys.  Just wanted to give you all an update on some stuff.  First of all, Tilian Pearson will no longer be singing for our band.  He decided it would be best to part ways. 

Everything seemed to be flowing pretty well.  We sent him a lot of the songs we’d been working on, and he wrote over a few and sent them back.  We were all pretty stoked on how it was turning out, so we decided to post a song for everyone to hear.

After deciding that we would officially work together, we flew him out to rehearse, record and play a show.  We are surprised by his abrupt decision, and we apologize for having to cancel the upcoming recording dates and the show.  

That being said, our EP was written and recorded long before Tilian was in the picture and we will be releasing it instrumentally. We’ve been writing music together since we were kids, and this is not the first time a singer hasn’t worked out. It will not stop us, and we hope that all of you who enjoy our music will stick it out with us until we find someone as dedicated and passionate as we are.
