Greg Garrity:
Wow! I can’t believe this tour is almost over. It has been a blast so far. All of the bands are great guys. We’ve become particularly close to the guys in TDF because we share a dressing room every night. But, Mayday Parade are our old friends from Japan, and since Danny from We The Kings has been hurt most of this tour, he’s been borrowing some of our percussion gear. He thanked us with a bottle of Gentleman Jack, which we devoured the night he gave it to us :)
We’ve been going through some shitty weather in the mid-west and northeast. Dave Mellilo, our current lead guitarist has seen the worst of it. It seems like every time he takes the wheel he’s going through the shittiest of storms. But, he’s been a trooper and gotten us through it.
There’s only a few more dates on the “End of the World Tour,” and we have mixed emotions about the conclusion of this run. On one hand we’re heading into the studio in Nashville in less than 2 weeks to record our next album, and on the other hand we’re leaving some great friends that we’ve made on this tour thus far.
