We are getting into the home stretch of Warped Tour now! There are just over 2 weeks left. The shows have all been great as I’ve said in the past 2 updates. We’ve had a few new additions to our set lately though.

We have introduced the “marathon circle pit” so make sure to come see what that is all about. We also announced a brand new tour, supporting our fellow warped tour buddies in We Came As Romans with Of Mice and Men, Texas in July and Close To Home.

Sorry so short! Still the same old out here. Eating food, drinking beer, making circle pits, more food, and sleep. Warped Tour!

The warped tour grind took no mercy on anyone this past week.

We played in the most hot weather thus far, had to trek into Canada and cross the border with hundreds of buses, and dealt with a crazy torrential down pour.

The first new demo for the next Miss May I record was recorded on the bus this week. Right now as I type this we are working on the second one.

All the shows have been amazing so far. I sound like a broken record but every single show has been great. One of the circle pits went trough the line of another bands signing the other day which was pretty awesome. We tried to crowd surf a security guard to from the sound tent to the stage and that didn’t turn out so well, so we tried getting kids to high five us which wasn’t working either. So I leave my update with one phrase: “crowd surf”.

Miss May I are currently out on the 2011 Vans Warped Tour among tons of other great bands, and the guys in the band were kind enough to volunteer to do a Warped Blog for PropertyOfZack to keep fans in touch with their experiences on the tour! The first week of warped was awesome. This is the first time that Miss May I has been in a bus, and had a full crew so the week started off pretty exciting. We had 1 show on the way out to the first day of warped, which was in Memphis with TDWP, and WCAR.

The Warped Tour dates have been great thus far. The crowds have been unbelievable, great crowd participation and tons of people every day. We also have been doing signings each day which is another new thing for the band. Each day we have done a signing at a different tent and got the opportunity to meet lots of fans face to face.

The tour has been pretty smooth thus far, we’ve only had one real problem which was in Las Vegas when the bus broke down, so we spent the whole day outside hanging with fans and watching bands.

Everyone be sure to swing by our merch tent and pickup a copy of the Deluxe edition of Monument, and catch us atba signing and on the Advent stage!
