Major League, Turnover, and Eric Soucy of Maker are continuing their tour following Maker’s near-fatal van flip this weekend, so we’re happy to be putting two of the bands together for a new PropertyOfZack Playlist feature. Check out details on Maker’s recent crash and ways to help them here and check out the Playlists below while listening to the songs on Spotify and reading everyone’s thoughts!

Tigers Jaw - Jimmy Piersall
A newer song by Tigers Jaw. There are 2 versions and both are great. Not only a great group of people but an awesome band we find ourselves listening to very often.
Now, Now - Neighbors
We found out about this band when “Threads” came out. After hearing that record we checked out their previous stuff and this song is off their EP of the same name. Check them out if you haven’t already.
Dinosaur Jr - Forget It
I’ve been hearing the name Dinosaur Jr for quite some time but never gave them a chance. I recently listened to them and fell in love. I downloaded their discography and they’re becoming one of my favorite bands. This song is off their record Green Mind and the guitar parts get me every time.
Beach Fossils - Face It
This band has a cool style and I really can’t say much more than that this song is awesome.
Whirr - Junebouvier
This band put out a split with Anne not too long ago on Run For Cover and after hearing it I checked out their previous record called Pipe Dreams which this song is off of. Awesome song, record and band that’s perfect to listen to and chill.
Jimmy Eat World - Work
This is one of my all time favorite bands and although “Futures” isn’t my favorite record this song is one of my favorite songs by JEW ever. I can listen to it anytime and it never gets old.
Prawn - Get Down
We found out about this band when Kevin from Topshelf Records gave us the Topshelf summer sampler on our tour a few months ago. All of the songs were great but this one stood out to all of us and is a really incredible track.
Nirvana - Rape Me
This song is among my favorites of Nirvana songs. Although the song itself is awesome musically the message is what sets it apart from the others for me. The more we become involved in music as we grow as a band the more we realize how so many people want their hand in everything you do, telling you how to be and what to do and it gets really old. This song speaks to that and it’s something anyone can relate to whether or not they’re involved in music.
Foo Fighters - Everlong
This doesn’t need much more of an explanation other than that it is a timeless song and is as awesome now as it was 15 years ago.
Coldplay - Yellow
This band gets a lot of hate that I feel they don’t deserve. I think they are a great band and this song is one of my favorites. It’s a truly beautiful song. - Austin Getz & Danny Dempsey

Bad Religion - I Want To Conquer The World
Not till I bought the Bad Religion Live at the Palladium DVD, did I realize how many hits this band really had. This track comes off their 1989 album No Control. For those people who only know Bad Religion from Tony Hawk games, it’s never to late to discover hidden gems.
Such Gold - Two Year Plan
As most people know, we have been really good friends with Such Gold since their first tour, so I’m proud to say that after keeping up with them the past couple years, they are continuing to put out new music that push’s the limits more every time. This is the opening track off their newest release and debut full length, Misadventures.
The Stereo State - Say It Again
The is an awesome band, also from western Massachusetts, who we have been friends with for quite some time now. This track comes off their new EP out next week actually. This is one of the most honest/genuine/talented bands out there these days. They will be at FEST so make sure you check them out.
Anthrax - I Am The Law
I got to see Anthrax for the first time this past summer and I’m still excited about it. Not much more of an explanation needed.
The Fake Boys - This Is Out Sound
Punk rock done right in 2012.
Kyoto Drive - So Much Alive
We just had the privilege of touring with this band in the UK in September. I’m not to big into poppy bands, but these guys had my attention every night of the tour when they played. Extremely tight and talented band. I’ve been listening to their EP quite frequently since the tour. Lets get these guys over to the states, alright?
