Moneen Ticket And CD Bundles For Sale

Los Angeles, CA - September 3, 2009 – Fans of MONEEN who plan to see a headlining date on their upcoming tour may now be able to save a few bucks when they buy both a ticket to the show and Moneen’s new album The World I Want To Leave Behind together through the Vagrant webstore (http://www.merchlackey.com/vagrant/index.php?page=155) for just $12 plus shipping. Moneen’s headlining dates start Oct 2 in East Lansing, MI after the Sept 15 release of the album, and are immediately followed by their 5 week tour supporting Say Anything and Eisley, which kicks off at House of Blues Anaheim on Oct 14. Fans who won’t get to see them on their headlining run can still pre-order the record bundled with an exclusive t-shirt, and Moneen’s catalog releases are currently on sale for $5 for a limited time, all in the Vagrant webstore.

Moneen recently debuted the Michael Maxxis-directed video for “Hold That Sound” from their forthcoming new album which can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmSnYAsZTcY. The Brampton, ON group recorded The World I Want To Leave Behind in January at Rattlebox Studios in Toronto with Brian Moncarz and Grammy award-winning David Bottrill (Tool, Silverchair, Placebo, Muse). Chart Attack interviewed the band in the studio, and lead singer/ guitarist Kenny Bridges says of the process, “This is the easiest record we’ve ever made as far as it’s so positive and really, really creative. A big influence on this record is more just straight-up, honest songwriting.” (http://www.chartattack.com/news/7378…with-new-album) Fans can see a bit of the behind-the-scenes experience on Moneen’s myspace page, as the band posts a series of four 5-minute episodes documenting the recording process.
