From Trevor Dahl:

Hello all,

There is a week left of the “I Like Tourtles” tour and we left florida this morning. In orlando, we got to stay with one of my best freinds since I was born. It was a great to hang out, relax, swim and enjoy the beautiful weather.

All of this climate change from the northwest to the southeast is taking a toll on the bands. There is always someone sick in our van and as soon as he heals, its on to the next one. My voice died for a few days and I had to cancel a couple of shows, and similiar things are happening with the other bands. Hopefully we can all finish the tour strong. Luckily we get to go home and rest up soon. Although, goodbyes are always sad. We’ve had a great time getting to know the other bands and the wonderful people that come to the shows. I’m excited to play and enjoy these last few shows before heading home to work on the upcoming album.

Plug In Stereo are currently out on tour with Every Avenue, We Are The In Crowd, and The Audition. You can check out our first PropertyOfZack Road Blog with Trevor Dahl from the band below!

From Trevor Dahl:

Hey Everyone! The tour is splendid thus far. The other bands are awesome to hang out with and watch every night. It’s great to tour with We Are The In Crowd again and to make friends with the other bands.

We finally made it to the west coast, which I couldn’t be happier about, and just left my hometown of portland. It was so good to sleep in my house and see my family/friends. We’re driving down to California now which I’m stooooked about. Finally we’ll get out of the cold weather and see some sun. Maybe go to disneyland..

Last week, while I was in Boston, I went to an arabic restaurant and my guitarist Jared  introduced to falafel. It’s fried hummus! Its like a vegetarian soy beef.  I was weary at first, on account that my diet mainly consists of mac & cheese and veggie burgers, but I was very pleasantly surprised. And I’ve already eaten falafel a couple more times since then. SOO GOOD. Try it, okay?

From Trevor Dahl:

The nothing to something tour is over and an I’m home now.

I had such a blast. It was sunny and on the west coast, which I loved. I got to meet and hang out with new people every day that supported my music. Headlining for the first time was a great experience that I’ll never forget. And we made from close friends throughout the 2 weeks as well. I couldn’t have asked for more, and I really appreciate all those that came to a show. Thank you. I’m so stoked to see you all soon.

From Trevor Dahl:

The start of the tour has been awesome and way different than things we’ve done in the past. I never imagined I would headline a tour. Its honestly mind blowing to hear people singing my lyrics. Its a dream come true. We’ve made great friends with Weatherstar an Bird By Bird. Some of the coolest most talented dudes ever.

I’ve eaten way too much taco bell and chipotle, and my stomach is paying the price. But I wouldn’t have it any other way..

But I’m excited to meet more people and we are all stoked for upcoming shows. Thank you so much to those that have come to a show

PropertyOfZack is glad to welcome Plug In Stereo for a brand new Road Blog feature. Trevor will be embarking on his first west coast tour very shortly, which is doubling as his first headlining tour, and he’ll be keeping all his fans directly in contact every week or so with updates from the road. Read up on a pre-tour update below!

From Trevor Dahl:

I’m so excited about the upcoming tour. We have been spending a lot of time rehearsing, which has been awesome because we are playing songs on this tour that we’ve never played live. So coming together as a band & hearing it live for the first time is really cool. Some of the songs we will be playing are Oh Darling, Together, Lately, What Goes Around and of course, Nothing to Something.

In the band is myself, my guitar player Jared, Arlis who plays drums, my sister Lindsey who plays keys and my brother Johnathan who plays bass. I’ve been playing with Johnathan since I started music but now having my sister up on stage as well is a really sweet opportunity the three have us have been given. This tour is going to be different than most tours we’ve done. Its my first west coast tour, we play some new cities, and it is my first headliner, which is unbelievable to me!

I’m super stoked about playing back in Seattle, LA, and of course my hometown Portland, as well as some new places like San Francisco.
I am totally looking forward to hanging out with the other bands, enjoying the summer weather and hanging out with everyone that comes.
Its going to be a such a fun time and I can’t wait to see everyone at the shows!!
