This Love hit the road with Twenty One Pilots and Farewell Fighter in December, and even though it’s a little delayed, the band wrote up a Road Blog for PropertyOfZack to update fans. Check it out and a video as well below!

The worst part about going on tour with bands you love is having it come to an end. This was definitely the case on our most recent tour with Twenty One Pilots and Farewell Fighter, as our love for both of them sparked long before the thought of hitting the road together. 

We kicked off the run at The Rock Room in Chicago, which is quickly becoming a second home to us. It especially felt like it this time, as we watched our fellow Ohioans, Twenty One Pilots, doing their thing (which is, if you haven’t heard yet, amazing).  George Medic, the promoter at The Rock Room, is an amazing dude, and always takes great care of us. 

The next day we stopped downtown and visited our friends at Fearless Radio. The interview was really fun, as always, and on the way there we caught some incredible footage of an SUV engulfed in flames (luckily no one was injured!).

This Love just finished up a brief tour with New County and What Happened In Vegas, and we thought it’d be a great idea for the band to recap the journey in a new PropertyOfZack Road Blog. Catch up on all that happened and check out a fun video below!

Our latest tour was a week-long run with New County and What Happened In Vegas. The tour started in Ohio, and as always, our hometown fans pulled through and gave us a great kick off. 

We had some troubles mid week after we woke up in St. Louis to a van that wouldn’t start. We also discovered, thanks to all of our soaked blankets/pillows/socks, that it leaks EVERYWHERE when there’s hard rain.  We decided to make the trip back to Ohio and swap out Deloris for Joe’s suburban. The “Dirty-Burb” worked well until we made it all the way back to the Ohio state line and started smelling burnt rubber. Turns out the e-brake had been half way down since we left. Just our luck haha! However, once we got that squared away, all was well and we were back on the road. 

St. Paul, MN was great, as the show had a huge turnout and we got to see some long-time friends of ours. The following night we played in La Crosse, WI, and let me just tell you this. We. Love. La Crosse. Our merch-man/all around badass/best friend, Travis, decided it was hilarious to ask EVERYONE we walked by if they were from Wisconsin and how much they liked cheese on a scale from 1 to 10. This made for some hilarious encounters, and most importantly we concluded that Wisconsiners do indeed love their cheese (except for that one girl who was lactose intolerant).

Picking up from Vienna, Virginia

What a night, we get our trailer back and wind up at the jammin java to kick off our last leg.

Amazing food, people and good times. This venue brought a great sound and a lot of kids. Some of our favorite fans to be exact.

The performance was great as a high amount of energy was provided from the bands and the fans.

We pack up and head for north Carolina.

This is Jonas sees in color territory so we know to expect great things.

We arrive at the soap bar in wilmington nc. Where across the street they’re shooting scenes for the show One Tree Hill.

That was pretty cool seeing that process all unfold and a great opportunity to promote.

We found a lot of people to come and check out the show later that night.

The fans came through again, providing great energy for the performance.

We then packed up and got ready for the last night….

Well, let’s just say I am in love with This Condition and Jonas Sees in Color. I cannot believe we “This Love” get a chance to witness great rocknroll like this every night. 
 
Night one - Columbus Ohio
 
Our place of residence as of this summer. Great show , great support. 
 
Jonas takes stage and I instantly fall into a deep love… The kind that doesnt fade. These boys are the stones incarnate. 
 
This condition- amazing , catchy, and easy one of the best bands I’ve seen to this day. 
 
We had a blast on stage all night. Not a dull moment , and were very inspired. 
 
We all got a chance to really get to know each other as we stayed at the “This Love shack” 
 
A long night of stories and kickin some knowledge around leads to a late night and an early morning 
 
Night two- Lebanon Ohio 
 
Another great turn out at a great venue. Awesome locals and another great evening of hangs afterwards. 
 
Night three- huber heights Ohio
 
My hometown really came out strong. This condition and Jonas really stole the show. Seriously winning over every single person that walked through the door.
