We’re somewhere in week 3 and I just woke up in Alabama. I’ve been kind of bumming out because Kent from Light Years keeps taking half our guarantee every night. I just don’t get why he is so mean to us. Also, the best thing to happen this week: Peanut fell down the stairs in Birmingham. I asked him if he was okay but he just told me to shut the fuck up and stuff. Weird guy. So we played 4 Florida shows and they were all awesome. Orlando was definitely the coolest. Didn’t expect it at all. We also got to play with Single Mothers on 2 of the Florida shows. That was cool. That band is great live. Full of Hell played one of them and that was cool too since we usually don’t get to play with bands like those ones. We’re heading to Memphis today and I hear it’s going to be good. Hopefully the stairs are carpeted at least, for Peanut’s sake. L8r.

It’s like Day 14 (I think), we just played a show at which our most calm song was moshed to. Pretty cool. Anyway, today was weird. Kent, who is drumming for Light Years, was being super mean to us again. I just don’t get that guy. Speaking of Light Years: In Boston, some Harvard student drove by and made fun of Pat’s laugh. Pat responded with kicking a huge dent in the kid’s door. (Don’t mess with Pat Kennedy at a red light). Anyway, the past few days have been fun though.

We played Virginia Beach and it was awesome. The security was kicking kids out for stage diving and actually caring about the bands playing. “Mad weak Jew Ma” (VA Beach jargon).  We were reunited with Cookout, which is pretty awesome. Ohio is definitely slacking on that one. We had our first off date which we spent at the beach and at a cookout. I think I sound like a moron when I write these things so I won’t carry on much longer. Everyone should check out Souvenirs and The Hotel Year. Two bands we’ve played with that I really enjoy. We’ll be in Florida tomorrow and I haven’t been there since I was like 12 (a few months ago) so I’m pretty excited. Anyway, Peanut is still a chump.

It’s Day 10 of tour with Turnover and Light Years. I’m sweating in a hot Durango in Philly. I guess that doesn’t really suggest that I’m having a great time but I really am. Tour thus far has been awesome. The first show of tour in Columbus was ridiculous and hopefully will set the pace for the rest of the tour. We played a couple weird shows this week but even those were better than a lot of shows we’ve played in the past. We played in Brooklyn and that was the first I had been to NYC.

We don’t get subway systems or anything so it was really just a headache. Long Island the next day was insane. Cool shows aren’t that cool when Peanut is with you though. That dude is NOT cool. Boston was by far the best show and best city we’ve been to so far.
