POZ Playlist: Paradise Fears
afire love - ed sheeran. in my opinion, the best on his new album, i feel like occasionally he just pairs the right words with the right melody & the right vibe, & it just creates this amazingly connective message. it’s a hell of a story, told the way that only ed sheeran really can.
weekend - priory. it’s a fucking jam, an anthem for the working class who know what life is really about. i just want to chant it with hundreds of people.
your ex-lover is dead - stars. somewhere deep inside me, born - Sam
broken heart - dr. dog. this song is epic. it has all my favorite elements of a good song: catchy melodies, solid guitar riffs, lots of colorful moments where every instrument in the song is featured at one moment and very very well written.
little motel - modest mouse this song is my favorite song of all time. It instantly draws you in with subtle synths and guitar riffs and from there on is a roller coaster of emotion. It rocks when it needs to rock and calms down so you can hear the intensities of the lyrics.
total life forever - foals. foals is my favorite band for sure and this song is why that is. it’s an upbeat indie song that just sounds funky. Every instrument is playing a different riff but it oddly fits perfectly. The lyrics are perfect as well. - Marcus
